We bring together a longevity-focused clinic and an app that puts your pet's health in your hands, wherever you are.
The name
Dama comes from dhamma (Pali) — the root of what we call dharma. It means the way: the path, the natural order, the right way of living and of caring. At its root is the idea of holding, supporting, sustaining — the same impulse behind everything Dama does for the animals in our care.
It's also, simply, the name of a Doberman puppy — the dog who started all of this. So the name carries both things at once: a philosophy and a face. The grand idea and the small, specific love that made it real.
The way
Dama is built around a single belief: that caring for a pet is a path you walk together, and the work is to make that path as long and as good as it can be. Not reacting when things go wrong, but walking well, every day. That's what the way means here — longevity as a practice, not a promise.
The logo
The line is the heart of the mark, and it means two things at once.
It's a leash — the simplest symbol of the bond between a person and their pet. The thing that connects you, that you hold, that keeps you together.
And it's the way — the path itself, the line you travel side by side. The leash and the road are the same line, because the relationship and the journey are the same thing.
